The Too Human promotional… wristwatch?

Japan gets all kinds of awesome pre-order bonuses, but Microsoft’s reservation gift for Too Human feels out of place. Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t see a clear connection with a Casio G-Shock wristwatch and Norse Mythology. What’s worse is the watch looks bland. The only thing that distinguishes it from a generic G-Shock watch is a tiny Too Human logo. How unmemorable. You have to wonder who created this marketing gimmick because Microsoft could have released a series of collectible figures based on the five classes. Each person who reserves the game gets one. Simple, sweet, and it sticks with Japan’s collector culture. Considering how obscure the watch is I expect it to be featured on Gamesniped in like ten years or so when Too Human II comes out.
