As the title suggests, the animals in Harvest Moon: Waku Waku Animal Panic are important. In addition toiling on a farm you get to race around the world on the back of your favorite animal. You can pick from a trusty horse, used in the other Harvest Moon games, or something more exotic like a giraffe.
Five animals are confirmed to be steeds so far: horse, giraffe, hippopotamus, goat, and cow. I’m picking the hippo unless you can pick an ostrich. Riding a huge flightless bird is the closest thing to Chocobo Racing in Harvest Moon. Ostriches are in the game along with elephants, zebras, sheep, and lemurs. Actually, I’ll pick the lemur if you can ride it because it’s absolutely ridiculous. Fingers crossed…
