Last night at the Nintendo DSi launch party I spoke with David Young, Assistant PR Manager at Nintendo. We discussed subjects such as region locking, DSi enhanced carts, and third party DSiWare developers.

On the last topic Young said, “A bunch of third parties working on things. I think Square Enix has some stuff coming out.”
What kind of “stuff” could Square Enix release on DSiWare? Chocobo clocks? A little bit of Yosumin? How about Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII? A few E3s ago Square Enix’s press kit had English screenshots of the unreleased mobile game. The DSi has a camera and episodes could be sold on DSiWare… just a thought!
