Level 5’s Top Secret Project Deals With Time Travel

Watch out Crono! Level 5 is developing a game with a time travel theme. They also roped in Jiro Ishii, the scenario writer from the critically acclaimed 428, to work on the game too.

In the Famitsu interview snippet circulating the net, Akihiro Hino, CEO of Level 5, says this work could be a popular series for Level 5. Even more intriguing is Hino says the game is being made for hardware that isn’t in this world, yet. A Nintendo 3DS title, perhaps?

 

And no, the game’s name was not disclosed. However, Level 5 has been proactive about trademarking titles related to time travel. Let’s see… in the Siliconera archives we have Time Machine People and Time Machine Story.
