Capcom has an early holiday gift for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd players who also happen to be Metal Gear Solid fans.

A crossover quest for Monster Hunter Portable 3rd titled MGS Solid & Liquid will be released on December 24.  You need to be rank HR4 or up and there’s a bowgun ban. Complete it to earn three Metal Gear Solid items for your Felyne:

Solid Neko Knife (neko is Japanese for cat)

Infinite Bandanyah ("nyah" is onomatopoeia like "meow")

Solid Neko Suit

This is the first collaboration between Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Monster Hunter Portable 3rd in a Capcom developed title. Earlier this year, Konami borrowed Monster Hunter creatures for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
