Silent Hill HD Collection Has An Option For Original Silent Hill 2 Voiceovers

silenthillhdKonami recorded new voiceovers for Silent Hill HD Collection, but you can play Silent Hill 2 with the original recordings. The compilation includes an option to switch between the 2011 voices and the voiceovers you heard a decade ago. That’s the good news.

The bad news is Silent Hill 3 can only be played with the new voiceovers. Senior associate producer Tomm Hulett said there were "technical and logistical" factors that prevented Konami from adding the old voiceovers as an option.

 

Silent Hill HD Collection, a compilation that includes Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3, will be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 in January 2012.
