Monster Hunter Puzzle Game Is Super Puzzle Fighter With Felynes

Capcom has yet another Monster Hunter spinoff, but this time you aren’t riding Poogies around a Felyne village. Felyne de Puzzle is a gem dropping puzzle game staring Monster Hunter’s cat-like mascots. I think Super Puzzle Felyne II Turbo could work as a North American title, if this ever gets localized, because it’s basically Super Puzzle Fighter II wrapped in a Felyne skin… that didn’t come out right…

Yes, it’s more of the same, but Felyne de Puzzle is a budget release in Japan clocking in at 2,990 yen ($37) on UMD or 2,700 yen ($33) as a PlayStation Network download. I wonder if Capcom will lure in the Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo crowd with Felyne de Puzzle. They might need to refresh the core game by adding something, perhaps new counter gem patterns, though.
