Necky the Fox often appears on the cover of Famitsu and occasionally the magazine’s mascot dabbles in cosplay. Last week, we saw him in a picture with Cloud and other Final Fantasy characters.
Famitsu frequently has tie ups with publishers too. Phantasy Star Portable 2 had a Famitsu sword. But, I think Puzzle & Dragons is the first game where you can summon Famitsu’s mascot.
Super King Gold Necky is one of the "monsters" you can use in the Japanese version of Puzzle & Dragons, but you can’t catch this fox just by playing GungHo Online Entertainment’s game. Players need to get a code from Famitsu App iPhone & Android 005. Puzzle & Dragons also has some characters from the Final Fantasy Tactics spinoff Crystal Defenders, so you can create a party with Necky and a Black Mage moogle.
