Sony Cuts 5,000 Yen Off Vita Price, Will Be 19,980 Yen ($213) Next Week

Sony Computer Entertainment just announced a price cut for the PlayStation Vita in Japan. The system will be 19,980 yen ($213) starting on February 28. The system was 24,980 yen for a Wi-Fi model and 29,980 yen for a 3G model when the system launched in Japan.

The price cut applies to 3G and Wi-Fi PlayStation Vita models in Japan.
