With all the commotion surrounding Mikado of the East, little is known about the state of Tokyo in Shin Megami Tensei IV. Atlus introduced three characters we’ll meet in Tokyo’s ruins.

Tokyo is sprawling with dangerous demons. The condition of the people currently residing in what was once a bustling city is unknown. Are these people friends or foes?

Tokyo is shrouded in darkness and dominated by demons. In such a place, there’s one girl who senses something foreign about the heroes of Shin Megami Tensei IV. It is unknown as to what triggered her interest in the Samurai group, but the fact that she seemed to have sensed something sets her apart from the rest of Tokyo’s people.

In Tokyo, you’ll meet characters such as this man who appears to have a patched up face (Tsugihagi means ‘patchwork’ in Japanese) and a distinctive man wearing sunglasses. It seems as though these two characters have some sort of connection between each other. Their origins are unknown.
