While a River City Ransom 2 is in development, it won’t be out until 2014. Fans of Technos’ beat ’em ups might want to check out Hot Blooded Tough Guy Kunio: Fighting Concerto. Kunio-kun is the original series River City Ransom, Renegade, and believe it or not Nintendo World Cup are based on.
Yoshihisa Kishimoto, the creator of Kunio-kun, is working on Fighting Concerto and supervising the game’s story. It’s a brand new plot for Kunio and his friends to fight through Tokyo districts like Ikebukuro and Shinjuku.
Hot Blooded Tough Guy Kunio: Fighting Concerto has a companion system where you can fight with a friend and part time jobs to take on. Part time jobs? That’s totally the opposite of this. Million added some RPG-lite elements to the game. Aksys brought over some of the Kunio-kun games like Super Dodgeball Brawlers. Perhaps, they’ll pick this up?
