God Eater 2 is getting a big upgrade. During the PlayStation Awards, an update with online multiplayer patch was announced. Namco Bandai is starting to work on this feature and will release it in the future.

Online multiplayer was only announced for the PlayStation Vita version. The game is also available for PSP. Altogether, God Eater 2 shipped 600,000 units in Japan.
