Freedom Wars’s Major Update Arrives In Early August, Versus Mode This Fall

Famitsu reports that Freedom Wars’ first major update will arrive in early August.   In addition to having an online infrastructure mode with voice chat, the major update adds a feature that lets you attack hostile Panapticons to lower their GDPP. There will also be new Volunteer missions added, as well.   Sony Computer Entertainment also announced that another big update that arrives sometime this Fall will introduce a competitive versus mode, where up to eight players at a time can participate in the PvP.   The Fall update will also include a special “Ideology Fight”.   You can read more about the game’s first major update in our earlier report. Freedom Wars is slated for release later this year in the West for PlayStation Vita.
