Final Fantasy’s Next Smartphone Game Is In Development With Brave Frontier Makers

In addition to Square Enix’s latest “text-input battle RPG” called Final Fantasy World Wide, the developers announced in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine that another new game for the series with Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius will release this winter. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

While details remain light on Brave Exvius, the report indicates that it is in development with Brave Frontier makers, A-Lim. The game will also feature characters from past Final Fantasy games as well, with artwork by Yoshitaka Amano.

Since there’s “Brave” in the title, perhaps we might see something similar as far as style and gameplay goes, except with Final Fantasy characters.

Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius launches sometime this winter in Japan for Android and iOS.
