Dragon Quest Heroes Will Let You Recruit And Summon Monsters

Recommended Videos

In Dragon Quest Heroes, you’ll take on hundreds, if not thousands of enemies—but don’t kill them all! As some of them will be recruitable party members. The latest issue of V Jump magazine shares more details. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

When you defeat a monster in the game, there’s a chance that they’ll drop a coin. Once you use this coin, you’ll get to have that monster fight by your side. You can have up to two monsters summoned at a time.

The summoning coins seem pretty interesting, but we don’t know whether they can be used multiple times, or if it’s a one-time use type of deal. So far, they’ve confirmed the Slime Knight, Golem, and Dracky as recruitable monsters.

Dragon Quest Heroes will release in Japan on February 26, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
