God Eater 2: Rage Burst Gets New Weapon-Like Aragami

Recommended Videos

God Eater Aragami come in all kinds of different shapes and sizes, but the newest additions in God Eater 2: Rage Burst sound like they’ll be wackier and more dangerous than ever. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine shares some more on the new beasts. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

These new monsters that have been given the title of “God-Fused” types, which makes sense since they look like they’ve been fused with various God Arc weapons.

The first is called Rasetsu Kongou, an Aragami that looks like your regular Kongou fused with a Boost Hammer weapon. Next is the Caligula Zeno, and this one is a Rufus Caligula with a body that looks like it’s been fused with a Charge Spear.

Finally, the Makuro Kyuubi is a new Aragami with a Kyuubi-like body, mixed with a Short Sword weapon.

The Famitsu report also shared more on what transfers from your God Eater 2 save data to Rage Burst, including money, items, clothing, and most of your gear. Your party members’ will grow will also be determined by the level they were in your God Eater 2 game as well.

Character creation will be available from the start, Blood Arts and Bullets will also carry over with their same awakened rate. Additionally, those of you trophy-hunters out there will have more work to do, as they won’t carry over to God Eater 2: Rage Burst.

God Eater 2: Rage Burst is slated for release in Japan on February 19, 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.
