Falcom and Chara-Ani are working on an enhanced version of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Evolution SC, the direct sequel to Trails in the Sky. Like other games in the Evolution series, the Vita release will have enhanced graphics, new character illustrations, additional battle effects, and full voice acting for the main story.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Evolution SC also has field attacks, a gameplay addition from the Evolution FC that let players hit monsters on the field before battle. If you can whack a monster you’ll start a fight in an advantageous position, but monsters can strike characters on the field too which would give enemies the upper hand. Chara-Ani also added touch screen controls plus tweaks to the Chain Craft combination system.
The Vita game will have a new animated movie, character illustrations made specifically for event scenes, and an arranged soundtrack made by Falcom’s in house jdk band.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky Evolution SC is scheduled to come out in December 2015 in Japan.
