In Square Enix’s latest arcade trailer for Dissidia Final Fantasy, Lightning the heroine of the Final Fantasy XIII series shows off her moves in her highlight video.
Lightning is classed as a Speed-type character in Dissidia Final Fantasy for arcade. There currently aren’t any details about her as far as abilities and EX Skill goes, but we’ll update this post once more information and her ability video becomes available.
Update: we’ve received more information on Lightning’s playstyle.
The Final Fantasy XIII heroine Lightning is different from other characters, as she is considered an “Attacker” that excels in close-ranged combat. She’s also a “Speed-type” that can fight in long-ranged battles, and can basically switch between her Attacker and Speed modes, similar to other characters with their job styles.
Her EX Skill “Army of One” is an offensive skill that allows her to take away enemy Brave points while recovering her own HP.
The above video gives us a closer look at her variety of skills, which include sword attacks and some magic.
