The 2016 Halloween National StreetPass Weekend Starts October 28, 2016

For the last few years, Nintendo has had a habit of offering National StreetPass Weekends over Halloween in North America. It happened from October 31-November 2, 2014, then again from October 30-November 1, 2015. This year, the Halloween National StreetPass Weekend begins on October 28 and ends on October 31, 2016.

Nintendo also notes that Filly and his convenience store-themed design request will also be available to Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designers who visit Nintendo Zones during this National StreetPass Weekend. Taking on and completing this request will add convenience store furniture to the in-game catalog.

As a refresher, during a National StreetPass Weekend, visiting a Nintendo Zone with your Nintendo 3DS on and in StreetPass mode will give you six tags from people across the country. Those people’s characters will appear in your Mii Plaza for StreetPass game and you’ll receive their tags in shared games.
