The Wolf Link amiibo Takes The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Players To The Twilight Cave

An Amazon France product listing has revealed details on amiibo compatibility and usage with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Though now pulled, the product information revealed that the Wolf Link amiibo will allow people access to an additional dungeon added to the game. The Twilight Cave will allow Link and Midna to reach the new area.

Additional amiibo functionality was detailed for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD. Figures of characters from the series can be tapped to the GamePad, adding arrows to Link’s quiver or providing him extra hearts. People will also be able to save some sort of data to the Wolf Link amiibo, to use in the next The Legend of Zelda Nintendo Wii U game.

Nintendo has yet to comment on this information. As such, it is unknown if the Wolf Link amiibo will be the only way for Nintendo Wii U owners playing The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD to reach The Twilight Cave.

North America and Europe will see The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD on March 4. People can get the Wolf Link amiibo bundled with it.
