During the “Phantasy Star Thanksgiving 2016” event that is being held today, Sega and Square Enix announced a collaboration between Phantasy Star Online 2 and Final Fantasy XIV.

The announcement of the “dream collaboration” was made on a giant screen at the event, where they showcased a glimpse of Odin who will appear as a boss character sometime in summer 2016, so Phantasy Star Online 2 players will need to get ready to face his “Zantetsuken.” In addition to Odin, the collaboration event will bring the popular Miqo’te outfits to the game, among other collaboration items.

On a more humorous note, when Final Fantasy XIV producer Naoki Yoshida appeared on stage, there were several instances of audience members shouting “Yoshidaaaaaa!”
