Persona 5 Reveals Its Newest Party Member Goro Akechi, And “Cooperative Characters”

Atlus held a special Persona 5 E3 2016 livestream today, where we got a first look at new party member Goro Akechi, and other new characters known as “Cooperative Characters” that will help you out.

 

As for the new character, his name is Goro Akechi, a high school student and detective. While no other details were shared today, we got a first look with the image above.

 

Additionally revealed were “Cooperation Characters,” a set of characters that you’ll meet in Persona 5, and they’ll help you out with various skills as you gain their trust through the “Co-Op” relationships.

The next event for Persona 5 will be at the Tokyo National Museum on July 19, 2016, where players will get to check out the final version of the game prior to its release in Japan this September.

 

Persona 5 will release on September 15, 2016 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan. The game will release in North America and South America on February 14, 2017.
