Animal Crossing: New Leaf Update Coming This Fall Will Add More Amiibo Functionality

Recommended Videos

This fall will see Animal Crossing: New Leaf receive a free update, bringing with it the ability to unlock more content in the game by scanning amiibo. [Thanks, Nintendo Everything.]

For example, scanning the amiibo card of a particular villager will make that villager move into your town. We also get a look at some Splatoon-themed content that will be added in the update, including two squirrels who bare a resemblance to the Squid Sisters Callie and Marie, as well as some Splatoon furniture and clothing.
