The first Advance Wars game on the Nintendo DS has found its way to the North American Virtual Console. Nintendo Wii U owners can get Advance Wars: Dual Strike and follow the adventures of the Orange Star, Blue Moon, Yellow Comet, and Green Earth Armies.

In Advance Wars: Dual Strike, the Black Hole Army has returned to Omega Land. Von Bolt is using Oozium 238, a bio-weapon, to get eternal life. The Allied Nations, which is filled with new CEOs like Orange Star’s Jake and Rachel, fight back. In addition to the campaign and multiplayer modes, there is also a Survival mode with requirements to clear and a real-time Combat mode. Players can use two COs in a battle, switching between them, with COs earning experience as you go along.

Advance Wars: Dual Strike is $9.99 on the Nintendo eShop.
