Tekken Retro Recap Offers An 8-Bit Look At Tekken 1-3

Recommended Videos

Bandai Namco has worked with Dutton Films Animation to release a special series of videos to prepare people for Tekken 7. Ahead of the game’s launch, 8-bit Retro Recap episodes will offer summaries of the story leading up to this latest installment. The first part has been released and covers the events of the first three games.

This is of course a truncated take on Tekken 1, 2, and 3’s stories. Within four and a half minutes, we get an occasionally lighthearted look at what has happened with the Mishima family, Mishima Zaibatsu, and King of Iron Fist Tournaments. Lots of people fall off of cliffs.

Tekken 7 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on June 2, 2017.
