Super Nintendo World Officially Begins Construction, To Add A Mario Kart Attraction

Nintendo and Universal Studios Japan held a groundbreaking ceremony for Super Nintendo World today, where it was announced that it’ll have a Mario Kart attraction.

 

The above trailer was shared from Universal Studios Japan, giving us an idea of what to expect from the new attraction area Super Nintendo World, which is scheduled to launch sometime before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

As previously detailed, Super Nintendo World will be themed on Nintendo’s more popular characters and their worlds, mostly centered around the Super Mario series. In addition to a Mario Kart ride attraction, it’ll feature state-of-the-art rides, interactive areas, shops, restaurants, and more.

 

Super Nintendo World is expected to launch at Universal Studios Japan before the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and it’s also headed to Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
