Bandai Namco announced the Japanese release date for .hack//G.U. Last Recode as well as a reveal of the brand new Vol. 4 story that will be added to the remaster.
Amazon Japan update the product page with a closer look at the Premium Edition as as well as a first look at Haseo’s new 5th form and more.
The Premium Edition version is available for pre-order at 8,208 yen on Amazon Japan. It features the following:
- Game Disc (Vol. 1 to 3 + new Episode Vol. 4 + Terminal Disc)
- Premium Disc Set (Soundtrack, drama CD, anime Blu-ray)
- “Secret File” booklet (new novel and art for Vol. 4)
- Special made box
As previously detailed, the remaster features a fourth story volume, Vol. 4 Perhaps a Dream of the World-Weaving Snakes, where Haseo logs into The World R:2 for the first time in a year and three months and finds Ovan frozen in a cavern. Haseo will gather with old friends and go on a new adventure in hopes of finding a way to save Ovan.
However, a mysterious girl named Kusabira suddenly appears before Haseo, and she appears to know about the Q’ha Holme caverns where Ovan was found frozen…
As for the new Haseo 5th Form (CV: Takahiro Sakurai) he’s an Adept Rogue class with the ability to use numerous weapons as he continues to grow.
.hack//G.U. Last Recode releases in Japan on November 1, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC. The game releases in the West sometime in Fall 2017. You can catch up on the latest information in our previous report.
