Etrian Odyssey V’s Necromancer And Rover Are Fearsome Allies

Recommended Videos

Two more of Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth’s character classes get a chance to enjoy the spotlight. Atlus has released two trailers for the game today. One focuses on the Necromancer, a dark magic user that can summon Wraiths. The other is a Rover, an archer with a hawk or hound that helps them fight.

Effective Necromancers will know how to use Wraiths to best benefit the party. Summoning  Wraith costs health. Once around, they can heal allies with an ability like Life Exchange or hurt enemies with skills like Curse Bomb, Flame Bomb, Gates of Hell, Negative Energy, and Tombstone Vice.

The Rover is a hunter that can whistle for an animal companion. One a hawk is around, Hawk Arrow, Ice Peck, Million Shot, and Wing Thrash skills can be used. After a hound appears, someone could use Aid Command, Foot Pierce, Hunter Shot, and Medical Lick.

Previous Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth class trailers include ones for the Hound, the Dragoon, the Warlock, Fencer, the Masurao. the Botanist, and the Pugilist.

Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth will come to the Nintendo 3DS in North America on October 17, 2017. The European release date has yet to be announced. A demo is now available on the eShop.
