Koei Tecmo revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine that the Wei officer Cao Xiu will be a playable character in Dynasty Warriors 9.
In addition to the Cao Xiu (wields a fan-sword) reveal, the magazine shows Xun Yu (throwing daggers), Zhu Ran (staff), Jiang Wei (dual trident), Yueying (pike), Wen Yang (mowing blade), and Zhuge Dan (feather fan) as returning characters with new visuals.
Dynasty Warriors 9 will release for PlayStation 4 in Japan, and PS4, Xbox One, PC for the West in early 2018.
