Mirror Wins The Kirby: Battle Royale Copy Ability Poll

Back in September 2017, Nintendo announced a Kirby: Battle Royale 25th Anniversary Copy Ability Poll. People were asked to vote for their favorite ability, with the top one possibly being added to Kirby: Battle Royale if it was possible. Well, the winner has been revealed as Mirror! (Thanks, Japanese Nintendo!)

Mirror was the number one pick in the Kirby: Battle Royale poll, followed by Yo-Yo, Sleep, UFO, Plasma, Suplex, Sword, Cook, Wing, and Missile. As a result, Mirror will be added to the game as free DLC and has received its own wallpaper (which it shares with the original Mirror art that is the palette-swap of the Beam ability). It will join the Japanese version of the game in December 2017.

A second Copy Ability poll will be held starting November 14, 2017 via the official website. Once again, if applicable, the winning ability will be added to Kirby: Battle Royale as free DLC.

Kirby: Battle Royale is available on the Nintendo 3DS in Japan and Europe. It will launch in North America on January 19, 2018.
