The last time we had a milestone update was in late-December when D3 Publisher announced that Earth Defense Force hit 250,000 units. Since its release in early-December, the game saw a steady flow of sales during the holiday season in Japan and continues to remain in the top-20 chart as seen yesterday in our weekly sales column. Earth Defense Force 5 released in Japan on December 7, 2017 for PlayStation 4.
