Namco Namja Town, an indoor theme park at Sunshine City mall in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, is the first theme park to utilize Microsoft HoloLens for two mixed reality theme park attractions. Bandai Namco released a news statement saying that the MR attractions are developed by Bandai Namco, and is produced by Namco, which runs the theme park.

There are two attractions, running during a short period in 2018: ‘PAC IN TOWN’ and ‘Rounding Up Mosquitoes “SMASH!” Operation’.

PAC IN TOWN (running from January 15, 2018 to February 28, 2018)

This attraction is based on the PAC-MAN franchise, and has players becoming PAC-men themselves. They have to cooperate to eat all the pellets while avoiding the ghosts, in a limited amount of time.

Rounding Up Mosquitoes “SMASH” Operation (running from February 10, 2018, to March 31, 2018):

This attraction is based on a previous attraction called ‘Explosion! Mosquito Battle’, and has players beating mosquitoes by clapping their giant palm-like tools to create a shock wave, while riding on a cart on rails.

For reference, here is Explosion! Mosquito Battle, which used a gun shaped like a can of bug repellant (the attraction closed in 2013):
