Zoids Makes A Return With A New Cross-Media Project That Includes A Nintendo Switch Game

Takara Tomy announced during a press conference that the Zoids franchise which boasts a 35 year history will get its first new series in 12 years called Zoids Wild, and it includes a Nintendo Switch game. [Thanks, Inside Games.]

 

For the new Zoids Wild series, it won’t change anything from its original mechanical animal concept, and will introduce brand-new designs through new line of toys starting with “Wild Liger” and “Gilraptor” this June in Japan. The series will also get a manga as well as an anime this summer in Japan.

While no further details were shared, it will also get a brand-new Nintendo Switch game as part of the cross-media project.
