After announcing that the 07th Expansion-developed supernatural horror visual novel Higurashi When They Cry Hou will release for Nintendo Switch in Japan this June, publisher Entergram shared its first trailer for Switch.
As previously detailed, the Nintendo Switch version of Higurashi When They Cry Hou will come with 19 chapters as well as three scenarios “Outbreak, Outbreak Kami Kashimashi, and Teiryujo that will be new to console. Teiryujo was specifically mentioned to have designs by Tomozo.
The game will play in full-HD while on TV Mode, and it’ll also have the updated “Quiz Oyashiro Ver. 2018” included. Theme songs and music from previously released console titles from the series will also be included.
Higurashi When They Cry Hou will release for Nintendo Switch in Japan for 7,980 yen on July 26, 2018.
