An update on NightCry, Hifumi Kono’s Clock Tower spiritual successor, has arrived for the PlayStation Vita version of the game. While the official Twitter account noted it was still in development in February 2017, Ryokutya2089 has confirmed Playism will bring it to Japanese PlayStation Vitas in 2018.

In Japan, NightCry will cost 2,296円. It will carry a Cero D rating, suggesting it is appropriate for players ages 17 and up. Ryokutya2089 also notes that BitSummit Vol. 6 is taking place May 12-13, 2018 in Kyoto, Japan.

NightCry is an adventure game set on a cruise ship where a killer called Scissorwalker, not to be confused with Clock Tower’s Scissorman, stalks the decks. You help the heroine find out what is going on by checking the ship and meeting with people during Exploration Mode. Once you encounter Scissorwalker, you need to hide or use traps to evade him and survive.

NightCry is immediately available for PCs.
