Valve To Roll Out New Steam Apps For iOS And Android

Valve announced that new Steam apps will be coming out in the following weeks for both iOS and Android. [Thanks, Phoronix!]   One of them is the Steam Link App, which turns smart devices into a Steam Link device when connected to 5Ghz Wifi, or wired Ethernet. The app will also work with the Steam Controller.   The Steam Link App will be followed by a Steam Video App that allows people to watch Steam multimedia content over Wifi or LTE. It can also be used both in offline and streaming modes.
