Recommended Videos

During the Yooka-Laylee Kickstarter, the $1,100,000 stretch goal was a Nintendo 64 shader mode and “GK Rap + Video” from Grant Kirkhope. The “Yooka-Laylee Rap” was already released, but an update on the 64-bit shader has only just been revealed by Playtonic. One screenshot has been shared, to show what Yooka, Laylee and the world will look like in this mode.

In the update, Playtonic notes that the studio is working on the 64-bit shader right now. It also notes that the developer commentary series and additional other content promised in the crowdfunding project are in the works.

Yooka-Laylee is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
