With new players trying out Disgaea for the first time with Disgaea 1 Complete, the full-HD remake of the original game, Laharl decided to make an appearance to teach the basics of battle in a new trailer by Nippon Ichi Software.
The trailer goes through the strategy RPG starting with the battles that take place on a grid-based map. Since no proper demon will care about the honor to fight one-on-one, Laharl teaches that demons are all about ganging up on a single enemy with several of your allies.
We then get to see examples of the Geo Effects that add more depth to battles with either positive or negative effects on the field panels. The following parts cover character creation, item usage, and flashy special moves.
Disgaea 1 Complete releases in Japan on July 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. the game releases in North America on October 9, 2018 and Europe on October 12. Check out our previous report for an introduction of three angels of Celestia.
