Following the reveal of Compile Heart’s new desert-themed RPG Arc of Alchemist, the company has  uploaded a new teaser trailer that gives us a better idea about its vast desert setting.

The story takes place in a vast desert that is said to have a great power that rests somewhere within it. Mankind has been looking for this power as a way to save themselves, but each time research groups have gone on expedition in search of the power, they’re either defeated or forced to withdraw. Quinn Blazeford, a young commander of a small kingdom that was founded less than 100 years prior, will lead a group to investigate the Desert of Beginnings to find the great power that just may save mankind.

Arc of Alchemist releases in Japan on November 29, 2018 for PlayStation 4. You can check out its first screenshots here, and its first details here.
