Bandai Namco revealed in this week’s issue of Jump magazine that the Beast Magic-user Vetto from Eye of the Midnight Sun will join Black Clover: Quartet Knights as a playable character.

Vetto has top-class attack power and has a barrier that protects him from magic. He can awaken his powers by opening his third eye. To top it off, he demonstrates tremendous speed using his Cheeta Charge ability to instantly close the gap between enemies.

The original story mode of the game shows Yami and the mysterious female mage Karna from 14 years prior when they broke into a noble’s mansion and found a necklace with a strange shine.

Black Clover: Quartet Knights releases in North America and Europe on September 14, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and PC. The game releases in Japan a day earlier on September 13 for PS4.
