Perseus, the legendary Greek demigod, is the latest Officer to join Warriors Orochi 4’s roster, following Zeus and Athena. Two other Sacred Treasures and the Deification form for Guang Yinping were also revealed. (Thanks, 4Gamer!)
Perseus (CV: Hiro Shimono)
A legendary hero of Olympus and a half-god, thanks to being the son of Zeus and the mortal Danaë. He was lauded as a hero after slaying Medusa. Troubled by Zeus meddling in human affairs, he sets out to stop the world from plunging into chaos.
Guan Yinping’s Deification form
As part of the story in Warriors Orochi 4, eight characters will be able achieve a Deification form, including Zhao Yun, Sanada Yukimura, Ishida Mitsunari, and Cao Pi. Guan Yinping joins this limited list of heroes with her Deification form, which is achieved by getting the necessary item from a defeated Chaos Origin enemy.
Furthermore, Koei Tecmo revealed Guan Yinping’s Deification cutscene during a recent livestream.
Two new Sacred Treasures
Talaria:
These are magic winged shoes that belong to the Greek god Hermes. By wearing them, the user gains supersonic speed.
Pestle of Exorcism
This is a Sacred Treasure designed by the saints, which has enough power to shake the land and blow away mountains.
Warriors Orochi 4 releases in Japan on September 27, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game releases in North America on October 16, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam worldwide.
