Dragon Quest Builders 2 is set on Empty Island, which actually starts out as an empty island but will grow with structures and residents over time. The official website shares closer look at two residents Lulu and The Captain who were recently revealed.
Lulu
Lulu is a girl who drifts ashore Empty Island alongside the protagonist. Her father was a top-class Builder, and she likes to compare the protagonist with him on occasion.
The Captain
The Captain is a captain of a ship who arrived at Empty Island after his ship wrecked. He has a boat to take you to nearby islands.
