World of Final Fantasy Owners Can Upgrade To Maxima As Paid DLC On PS4 And PC

World of Final Fantasy is getting a “powered up” version in World of Final Fantasy Maxima this November, and those who own the PS4 and PC versions will get to upgrade to it as a paid DLC.

 

According to the Japanese official website of the game, those who own World of Final Fantasy on PS4 and PC via Steam will get to upgrade to Maxima for 2,400 yen plus tax. Unfortunately for owners of the PS Vita version, there’s no word on the upgrade it at the moment.

If you missed the announcement and trailer earlier today, you can check it out in our previous report. The upgraded version adds two new Champions with Noctis from Final Fantasy XV, Zack Fair from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Y’shtola from Final Fantasy XIV, Serah from Final Fantasy XIII-2, Cecil from Final Fantasy IV, and Firion from Final Fantasy II.

The upgrade will also add some familiar characters from the series as new Mirages.

Lastly, a new mini-game where you’ll get to go fishing with Noctis.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima releases on November 6, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
