Crystar features two sisters, Rei and Mirai, who are sent to the world of the afterlife, Limbo. The concept of the game revolves around crying, which is also helpful in terms of gameplay, by purifying new equipment to use.

In order to express Crystar’s world in full, Arc System Works will be localizing all of the text into Chinese, including special effects and such. Last week, during an interview director Fuyuki Hayashi mentioned that overseas release was still undecided.

Crystar is available in Japan on PlayStation 4.
