Pokemon Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun DLC Pack Announced

More Nintendo-themed songs are heading to the latest Taiko no Tatsujin game. It has been revealed that a Pokemon Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun three-song pack will be added to the game. It will arrive in Japan on February 7, 2019, though a worldwide release date has not yet been announced. (Thanks, Famitsu!)

One of the songs in this Taiko no Tatsujin add-on is from a game, while the other two are from anime series. People will find a song from Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Eevee! under the Game music heading. As for the other two, both are theme songs from the Pokemon: Sun & Moon anime series. One is “Aim to Be a Pokémon Master -20th Anniversary-,” an arrangement of the original opening theme from the first series, and the other is “Future Connection.”

While the Pokemon Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun add-on has not yet been confirmed for North America and Europe, there is a good chance it could appear here too. After all, the temporarily free Hikakin Pack was released worldwide. Also, immediately available DLC packs that managed to receive worldwide released include the free Nekoko and Tomomo Neko Tomo avatars and the paid Studio Ghibli, Touhou Project Arrangements, and Vocaloid Music Packs. Also, the game already has “Alola!,” one of the Pokemon: Sun & Moon themes, in it.

Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun is available for the Nintendo Switch worldwide.
