Square Enix announced in the Japanese Nintendo Direct today that the Dragon Quest series’ card battle RPG Dragon Quest Rivals is headed to Switch, and it released right after the presentation.

Here’s a new trailer that was shown during the Direct:

The game is similar to other free-to-play collectible card games like Shadowverse and Hearthstone, featuring various characters such as Terry from Dragon Quest VI, Alena from Dragon Quest IV, Jessica from Dragon Quest VIII and many others as heroes. You construct decks featuring various monsters and characters from the series with various play styles to mix and match.

Dragon Quest Rivals is now available in Japan for Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and PC browsers.
