Nintendo Creates Special Site Promoting Otome Games On Switch

Nintendo has opened a special site promoting various otome games that are available or upcoming for the Nintendo Switch, such as Kiniro no Corda Octave, Norn9 LOFN, and Nightshade/Hyakka Hyakurou. [Thanks, DenFamiNicoGamer!]

It seems that this is a cross-marketing push by Nintendo with otome game makers such as Idea Factory’s Otomate brand and D3P Otome-bu, which have both retweeted and spread the news about the site. Other games by CaeruX, DigiMerce and Prototype are also listed on the site. At the very bottom, there is a comprehensive list of release dates for upcoming otome games coming to the Switch as well.

The genre has seen a surge on the system, with Idea Factory’s president even recently announcing that every Otomate console game is headed to the Switch. While currently the lineup is mostly enhanced ports of older games, there are a variety of new games that are in development as well.
