Splatoon 2’s next Splatfest has been revealed, and this time it’s a global one. Inkopolis wants to know witch team you’d rather be on – would you rather be a righteous knight, or weave spells as a wizard?
One extra bonus feature for this Splatfest in particular is that if you wear the Knight or Wizard set headgear and shoes, your Splatfest Tee will automatically transform into the body gear, letting you wear a full robe or armor into battle. It’s just the appearance that changes though – the main gear ability is still Ability Doubler. It’s a small bonus feature for people who own the amiibo, and Nintendo clarified that you can wear either costume no matter which team you’re on.
…Hey, wasn’t there a third Octo Expansion amiibo? I wonder the gear you get from it works in this Splatfest too? (It does.)
The Knights vs Wizards Splatfest runs from the following times below:
- NA: March 15, 2019 at 9pm PT to March 16, 2019 at 9pm PT.
- JP: March 16, 2019 at 3pm JST to March 17, 2019 at 3pm JST
- EU: March 16, 2019 at 3pm CET to March 17, 2019 at 3pm CET
