Earlier this week we saw how Devil May Cry 5 performed in its debut with an opening of 116,202 units sold in Japan through retail. Sales tracker Media Create provided additional information on its sales.

According to the trackers, Devil May Cry 5’s 116,202 units was about 75.75% of its initial shipment in Japan. While its total doesn’t come close to the 2008 Devil May Cry 4 which sold 205,390 units on PS3, it topped the 2015 updated re-release of Devil May Cry: Special Edition which sold 35,872 units on PS4.

It also worth noting that the game topped the 2013 title DmC Devil May Cry which sold 110,429 units on the PS3 in its Japanese debut.

Devil May Cry 5 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
