The SaGA series browser game Imperial SaGa has had quite a run for Square Enix since its debut back in June 2015, but the company announced that it’ll end this December and that a new Imperial SaGa game is also in the works.
Square Enix put together a notice video for Imperial SaGa to announce that its service is coming to an end on December 26, 2019 at 11:00am JST. The micro-transactions will become unavailable on June 27 at 6:00pm JST.
Fans will have a good while to keep playing until the game eventually shuts down, but Square Enix also announced New Imperial SaGa (tentative) and it is in development web browsers. More information will be shared on a later date.
Imperial SaGa is available for PC in Japan.
